This stunning couple chose to make New York City the destination for their wedding weekend. The bride, originally from Russia and the groom who hails from the Mid-West, now live together in Florida. They came to Kate Edmonds Events quite unsure of what their end story would be as they were only planning to have a very small wedding in New York and a larger celebration in Florida.
Ultimately, they chose a stunning series of events with Kate Edmonds Events. A rehearsal dinner at the Lotte Mansion at the Palace Hotel for 55 guests, followed by a night club welcome for all their out of town guests at the upmarket nite spot, Beautique.
The wedding ceremony took place at FDR's historic church on 35th and Madison Avenue, The Church of the Incarnation, decked out in beautiful florals and it was a stunning location for their exchange of vows with a female minister.
Immediately following, we speedily transported all of our 160 guests for an extended cocktail party, delicious hors d'oeuvres and an old school jazz band playing American standards, while watching the sunset over New York on a perfect Saturday in February. Later, that same amazing space was transformed into a very sexy after party nite spot using sunset colors as a huge change from the all white pallet that was selected to decorate throughout the wedding and reception.
For the reception, massive arrangements of dendrobium orchids cascaded over the moving dance floor of the iconic Rainbow Room beautifully lit, the guests danced the night away. The fabulous food, over the top wedding cake and the love in the air all mixed together to produce a magical evening, one that the bride and groom say was "their dream come true."
