I started drinking this delightful apertivo whilst on holiday with my mother, Gwen, in Venice.
So, to get your dinner party started, we prescribe an Aperol Spritz!
Served in an old fashioned glass over ice – simple and delicious! Three parts good Prosecco (like my friend David’s Altaneve), two parts of Aperol, one splash of soda water and a good looking slice of orange. Stir gently. And lose the straw if you want to feel European!
