Kate Edmonds Events is an award winning event production, design and wedding planning company who knows how to take extraordinary care of our clients. We are based in NYC, however we can travel wherever is needed to achieve our client's goals. We are sophisticated tastemeisters who love to keep our eye on the pulse though we are no slaves to fashion. We are well traveled with a large measure of good taste and a great deal of experience to share with you. Our staff is friendly, authentic, approachable, and responsive, and we place an importance on hospitality and grace under fire.

Kate Edmonds
Kate Edmonds is founder and president of Kate Edmonds Corporate and Private Events, Ltd. She has been producing timeless, dreamy weddings and very special corporate and private events since 1993.
Kate grew up in England and loves to embrace her British sensibilities where possible. First a Registered Nurse in the UK and Australia, then while traveling the globe, her interest in healthy beautiful skin took her into special events at a large French cosmetics company, while simultaneously producing and organizing after-show parties for Saturday Night Live. She then dabbled in the nightclub scene with Mickey Mouse Operation, later The Boom Boom Room, a moving nightclub, thus deepening her passion for the art of event planning prior to founding her own company.
Kate opened her own Corporate and Private Events firm in 1993 in Manhattan and has been planning stunning events along with her team for over 25 years. She has been recognized by her peers and in press, TV and radio appearances for her extensive vision and creativity tempered with a sharp eye for all the details. Kate is passionate about theater, music, dance and photography. She is a foodie, loves a well-mixed cocktail, and sure knows her wines. Kate has an exceptional talent with color and design and collaborates well with the best in the business. She loves nothing more than selecting the finest team for each client's taste and budget range and keeping everyone on track. “An event is like a Broadway show without a dress rehearsal” says Kate!

Marissa is the latest addition to our team, assisting Kate with our wedding planning and marketing. She has a background in the service industry and also specializes as a dance/movement therapist!
We have a healthy history of internships and mentoring at Kate Edmonds Events, and we continue to welcome applications. Our dynamic internships offer hands-on experience in all aspects of event planning with a focus on Marketing and Communications.
